What should I check before moving into a Dubai rental?
Before moving in, confirm Ejari registration, DEWA transfer, and document the property's condition (walls, flooring, appliances, AC) with photos and a signed inspection report — this protects your security deposit at move-out.
Why should I take photos when moving in?
Photos taken at move-in, timestamped and ideally shared with the landlord/agent, are the clearest evidence of the property's original condition — useful if there is ever a dispute over deposit deductions at move-out.
